This sauce lead with a tart, deep sweetness from Cherries and Sugar. Sage and Caraway Seeds provide a fuzzy, herbal warmth and a savory, rye-like aroma, while Apple Cider Vinegar adds a mellow, balancing acidity. Black Pepper and Habanero Peppers introduce a sharp, dry baseline that grounds the orchard fruit. The experience transitions quickly from a savory, herbal start to a sustained, glowing Habanero fire.
This sauce is an ideal match for savory chicken wings, roasted duck, and pork tenderloin. It also works well as a vibrant addition to smoked meats, pâté, and sharp cheddar. Additionally, it excels as a gourmet finisher for roasted beets, carrots, and sausage pizza, or as a bold flavor booster for holiday-themed boards and charcuterie.

Fantastic and very interesting combination of flavors. It was sweet and what I'd call "grocery store hot". Makes an amazing wing sauce when combined with butter.
